The West Bengal State Science & Technology Congress (WBSSTC) is one of the major flagship programs of the Department of Science and Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal. It provides a prestigious platform for scientists, researchers, scholars, and academicians to share their research findings, exchange new scientific ideas, and promote innovations in various fields of science and technology that align with societal needs.

This event is not only an annual congregation of the scientists, researchers, academicians and scholars of the State and beyond, but it also marks a celebration of eternal curiosity and the creativity of human minds. Through different Memorial lectures, invited lectures, and technical sessions, it provides unique opportunities to interact with the eminent scientists and stalwarts in the field of science which helps the young researchers to propel their ideas in the right direction.
